The ecofeeder is a new, innovative and environmentally friendly take on the birdfeeder. Currently in two lovely colours, the ecofeeder allows you to recycle your kitchen food waste to be reused as birdfood. This means you can wave goodbye to buying birdfeed and instead feed your birds for free on the food waste that you’d otherwise throw away. This not only saves you money but also helps you to reduce your household’s contribution to the 8.3bn tonnes of food waste which is thrown away in the UK each year.

The ecofeeder is now hand-made using as much FSC certified wood as we can, and painted using great outdoor paints with the lowest VOC ratings available (VOCs are nasty chemicals which harm the atmosphere). We recycle as much of the waste which we create during production as we can and use no plastic in our packaging. Using the ecofeeder is easy. Once it’s bought, all you need to do is lift off the roof and put in any kitchen waste which is listed on this "page" and on the instruction leaflet. You might have even bought some of our ‘Lard Cakes’ to put in.

We’ve made the chain a nice length to let you hang the ecofeeder off the branch of a tree in your garden, or if you haven’t got a tree there’s instructions supplied with the ecofeeder advising you on where else you can put it. Essentially, this is a product with the environment at heart; it’s affordable, it’ll save you money in the long run and most importantly, it’s helping to keep your birds and our environment happy.
